Brahma Chellaney on X: "Islamist extremists now feel empowered in Bangladesh: During the most important religious occasion of the long-persecuted Hindu minority involving worship of Goddess Durga, six Islamists seize the podium to sing songs calling for an Islamist revolution. https://t.co/aU2mCyU3VO" / X (twitter.com) Jihadis are singing Islami jihadi songs in Durga puja pandel in Chittagong Bangladesh. What if Hindus sing hare ram hare krishna during Namaz inside mosques?

Bangladesh example proves that Islam is intolerant. Muslims do not tolerate other religions like Hinduism and Christianity. In addition, later these power thirsty leaders may wage a war against each other. Example of Iran where Shah was dethroned and Iraq where Saddam was removed from the power by joining hands with USA. Breaking of Yugoslavia is an other example, in which Muslims played an important part.

India must learn lessons from these examples.

Shaikh Hasina flees from Bangla Desh on 5 August 2024 and arrives temporarily in India. Shaikh Hasina won the elections but the opposition destabilized Bangla Desh by protesting. One hundred thousand people are sufficient to destabilize the nation in a democracy. This is what happened in Bangla Desh. It shall have a reaction in India and India must take all precautions to maintain peace and stability. Relations between Shaikh Hasina and the USA and China were not pleasant. Chances are that this may be due to USA or China. Bangla Desh Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman is a relative of Sheikh Hasina. ISI played a key role for this unrest in Bangla Desh.

Bangla Desh progressed under Shaikh Hasina rule. But in democracy it is nor the progress, development of Infrastructure, increase in GDP, better results indicated by World Peace or transparency or human rights activists, but it is important to maintain good relations with world powers. Does it mean colonial powers interfere in unfriendly states? Bangla Desh is an example.
