Peacemaker on X: "๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Sergey Lavrov on the world's abandonment of the dollar due to US policy: "Given that Washington has expressed specific threats to the BRICS, that BRICS must be fought, that BRICS undermines the interests of the United States, I must say in fairness that President Trump https://t.co/0735uJMntv" / X that President Trump previously expressed a somewhat different opinion. He directly said that the actions of the Biden administration, which uses the dollar as a weapon, have caused irreparable damage to the authority of this world reserve currency. And I am sure that he understands the fairness of this assessment and that in response to the actions of the previous administration, both the BRICS, and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries, and many others are looking for alternative ways of settlement that would not be tied to the dollar.

This is not because we want to escape the dollar. President Putin has emphasized this more than once. They decided to use the dollar to punish those whose behavior seems to the Americans to be contrary to the same notorious rules on which they want to maintain the entire world order." 1:01AM 16 July 2025

Tensions Rise Between Brazil and the U.S.!  In this detailed analysis, Ankit Avasthi Sir explains the real reasons behind the growing dispute between Brazil and the United States. Is it about trade? Diplomacy? Or a new geopolitical alliance?  Why Are Brazil and the U.S. Fighting? | Full Geopolitical Breakdown | By Ankit Avasthi Sir. Before Lula, it was Bolsonaro, the President of Brazil. Lula arrested Bolsonaro. Trump threatens Lula with 50% tariff. It is a witch hunt, and it should be stopped immediately, as asked by Trump. Bolsonaro was president till 2022. Biden was not in favour of Bolsonaro, but Trump was in favour. Bolsonaro did not accept the election results of 2022. "Brazil's Bolsonaro barred for running for office until 2030" the decision from Brazil's highest court. Brazil exports Coffee to USA. If USA tariffs 50% then Brazil shall also 50%.

BhikuMhatre on X: "Brazil President Lula: "Trump could've called, but instead posted the tariff news on his website - a complete lack of respect which is typical of his behavior towards everyone." Lula on X: "In light of the public statement made by U.S. President Donald Trump on social media on the afternoon of Wednesday (9), it is important to highlight the following: Brazil is a sovereign nation with independent institutions and will not accept any form of tutelage. The judicial" / X The judicial proceedings against those responsible for planning the coup d'รฉtat fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of Brazil´s Judicial Branch and, as such, are not subject to any interference or threats that could compromise the independence of national institutions.

In the context of digital platforms, Brazilian society rejects hateful content, racism, child pornography, scams, fraud, and speeches against human rights and democratic freedom. In Brazil, freedom of expression must not be confused with aggression or violent practices. All companies—whether domestic or foreign—must comply with Brazilian law in order to operate within our territory. The claim regarding a U.S. trade deficit in its commercial relationship with Brazil is inaccurate. Statistics from the U.S. government itself show a surplus of $410 billion in the trade of goods and services with Brazil over the past 15 years. Therefore, any unilateral tariff increases will be addressed in accordance with Brazil's Economic Reciprocity Law. Sovereignty, respect and the unwavering defense of the interests of the Brazilian people are the values that guide our relationship with the world. 11:46AM 10 July 2025

As I often tell my friends and well-wishers, I would request you to join me in this effort, to be warm-hearted and to lead a meaningful life in the service of others; that will be the best birthday gift to me. I feel my life has been of some benefit to people across the world, and I dedicate the rest of my time to the service of others. Thank you and with my good wishes, Dalai Lama 10 July 2025. 7:50PM 11 July 2025

6 July 2025

I am just a simple Buddhist monk; I don’t normally engage in birthday celebrations. However, since you are organizing events focused on my birthday I wish to share some thoughts. While it is important to work for material development, it is vital to focus on achieving peace of mind through cultivating a good heart and by being compassionate, not just toward near and dear ones, but toward everyone. Through this, you will contribute to making the world a better place.
As for myself, I will continue to focus on my commitments of promoting human values, religious harmony, drawing attention to the ancient Indian wisdom which explains the workings of mind and emotions, and Tibetan culture and heritage, which has so much potential to contribute to the world through its emphasis on peace of mind and compassion.
I develop determination and courage in my daily life through the teachings of the Buddha and Indian masters such as Shantideva, whose following aspiration I strive to uphold.
As long as space endures, As long as sentient being remain, Until then, may I too remain To dispel the miseries of the world.

Thank you for using the opportunity of my birthday to cultivate peace of mind and compassion.
Tashi Deleg and with prayers, Dalai Lama 5 July 2025

Dalai Lama on X: "Statement Affirming the Continuation of the Institution of Dalai Lama (Translated from the original Tibetan) On 24 September 2011, at a meeting of the heads of Tibetan spiritual traditions, I made a statement to fellow Tibetans in and outside Tibet, followers of Tibetan https://t.co/VqtBUH9yDm" / X of Tibetan Buddhism, and those who have a connection with Tibet and Tibetans, regarding whether the institution of the Dalai Lama should continue. I stated, “As far back as 1969, I made clear that concerned people should decide whether the Dalai Lama’s reincarnations should continue in the future.”

I also said, “When I am about ninety I will consult the high Lamas of the Tibetan Buddhist traditions, the Tibetan public, and other concerned people who follow Tibetan Buddhism, to re-evaluate whether or not the institution of the Dalai Lama should continue.” Although I have had no public discussions on this issue, over the last 14 years leaders of Tibet’s spiritual traditions, members of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, participants in a Special General Body Meeting, members of the Central Tibetan Administration, NGOs, Buddhists from the Himalayan region, Mongolia, Buddhist republics of the Russian Federation and Buddhists in Asia including mainland China, have written to me with reasons, earnestly requesting that the institution of the Dalai Lama continue. In particular, I have received messages through various channels from Tibetans in Tibet making the same appeal. In accordance with all these requests, I am affirming that the institution of the Dalai Lama will continue. The process by which a future Dalai Lama is to be recognized has been clearly established in the 24 September 2011 statement, which states that responsibility for doing so will rest exclusively with members of the Gaden Phodrang Trust, the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. They should consult the various heads of the Tibetan Buddhist traditions and the reliable oath-bound Dharma Protectors who are linked inseparably to the lineage of the Dalai Lamas. They should accordingly carry out the procedures of search and recognition in accordance with past tradition. I hereby reiterate that the Gaden Phodrang Trust has sole authority to recognize the future reincarnation; no one else has any such authority to interfere in this matter. He also sheds light on the role of Tibetans in the Indian Special Forces, taking on China.
