Muslims were not paying electricity bill. Survey continued in Sambhal though Supreme Court of India objected. SCI should not interfere in politics.

One seasonal journalist informs that Mulayam Singh Yadav accorded standing instructions to the police that no FIR should be accepted against Yadav and Muslim people. If it is unavoidable, then register the case but do not arrest. I was in India, and during that time, Mulayam Singh Yadav was Chief Minister. Mulayam Singh appointed many Yadavs to the Police and Excise departments of the U.P. Government. These inspectors accepted money openly, and no one dared go against them.

An example is the lady state excise inspector Yadav posted in Mohan Meakin Ltd between 1997 and 2008, when I was an employee in Mohan Meakin Ltd, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, U.P. India. Selection was not based on merit but based on caste and religion. Money also played an essential part in getting a lucrative government job. Examinations for government jobs were rigged, and many inefficient and corrupt officers were selected, although good people were also selected. These sound executives were fewer in number, and many government trainees applied for government jobs for easy money. 

Yogi Aditya Nath tried his best to provide a secure and prosperous environment in Uttar Pradesh. The electricity position improved.
